Originally working in the research environment, HW Communications have developed new and innovative multimedia data systems targeted towards the professional operative.  Producing technical solutions far beyond the existence of a significant TETRA data market, HW look forward to the next wave of TETRA expansion where the first take up of packet data services is expected to drive the integration of Multi-slot data and ultimately the TETRA Enhanced Data Services (TEDS) of TETRA Revision 2. • T-MUX - HW enables quality application delivery through its highly optimised network transport technology.
• T-EMU - Application software is rigourously tested using HW's own developed packet data emulator.

HW works closely with Sepura's Application Partner Programme to practically verify performance of our application solutions following in house testing using T-EMU.

Standards :
HW maintains forward compatibility to TETRA 2 through active contribution to ETSI standardisation. HW are the original authors of TETRA 2's Multimedia Exchange (MEX) Layer which provides advanced Quality of Service (QoS) managment for future TETRA 2 mobile terminals; a concpet originally based upon HW's T-MUX technology.
